If you love the look of fuller, longer lashes and you’re ready to start your false lash journey – you’re in the right place. Applying false lashes can be a frustrating task. It often takes ages, and the lashes end up crooked… Or they poke you in the corners… Or they lift at the ends…
So if you want to avoid these problems, pay attention to these three things:
- Steer clear of heavy lashes – ones that are too long and too dense. The best lashes for beginners are the more natural styles. If your eyes aren’t used to them, dramatic lashes will feel noticeable and irritating. Choose magnetic lashes that attach to magnetic eyeliner.
- Don’t pick glue-on lashes for your first try. They’re much harder and more time-consuming to apply! By choosing magnetic lashes, you’ll save yourself a lot of frustration.
- Go for half lashes or ¾ lashes. Don’t worry, there’ll be time for fuller styles later! But if you don’t want to get discouraged the first time around, choose styles on a shorter band of up to 20 mm.
The best lashes for beginners
Now you know the basics! If you don’t want to start searching on your own, below you’ll find the 5 best lash styles for beginners – beautiful and easy to apply!
1. Best lashes for a super-natural look – Rose (7–11 mm)

Rose are short magnetic half lashes on a 20 mm band, with the longest fibers measuring 11 mm. They’re so lightweight you won’t even feel them on your eye! These lashes also combine brown and black fibers on one band, which gives your gaze a more natural look. If you want to define your lash line and get a soft cat-eye effect, this is a great choice for you.
That said, it’s a VERY subtle style, for those who are really looking for something to get started with.
Like our other half lashes, this style has 6 magnets on each band, with the two outermost ones being larger. You can be sure the lashes won’t lift at either corner during the day.
2. Best everyday lashes – Jane (9–12 mm)

Another style that combines brown and black fibers, but it differs from Rose in density and very slightly in length. Don’t worry, they’re still just as lightweight and just as comfortable for everyday wear as the style above!
The effect is noticeable, but not dramatic.
One customer who wears this style says: “Great product. I’d never worn any lashes before, I bought them out of curiosity and I’m super surprised how beautiful my eyes look.”
3. Best lashes for the evening – Amelia (6–13 mm)

We have a feeling this style needs no introduction. It appears on our shelves and sells out in the blink of an eye. Why? Because Amelia magnetic lashes are the perfect half lashes. No other style defines the lash line so beautifully with a cat-eye effect. They suit soft makeup, but they also work brilliantly with darker, more intense colors. If they’re in stock, don’t think twice!
We think this is the best half-lash style for the evening, a party or a night out with friends. You can jump, dance and do cartwheels in them – properly applied lashes will stay put.
One customer who wears this style says: “I’m very happy with these lashes, they’re super light and stay on all day and would probably last even longer, it’s a shame to take them off, the best thing about them is that they don’t weaken my lashes at all, which I really appreciate.”
4. Best full lash style – Hottie (8–13 mm)

You want full lashes that create a wow effect, rather than just accenting the outer corner of your eye. We get it! This style is our best full lash – it nicely emphasizes the center of your eye without weighing it down. It’s a very versatile style that also works well for those with hooded eyelids.
Even though they’re full lashes, Hottie is lightweight and sits comfortably on the eye thanks to 10 magnets on the band.
One customer who wears this style says: “Super comfortable, beautiful lashes with a WOW effect!! What more could you want. Putting them on is a breeze (coming from someone who could never do it before).”
5. Best lash set for beginners – Half Lash (3 styles)

A set always means a better price and more styles to try. What more could you want 🙂 This three-pack includes Amelia, Jane and Aurora – the three original styles from our half lash collection.
Every style in this set has a 20 mm band, and with proper care each pair will last you up to 30 wears. That adds up to 3 months of everyday use!
The handy box is easy to take with you when you travel and makes it simple to keep your lashes hygienic.
One customer who wears the lashes from this set says: “They look very, very natural and spectacular at the same time. My husband doesn’t like false lashes, but after I put these on he said they look divine! That’s the best recommendation!” (We couldn’t agree more 🙂 )
How to apply magnetic lashes
Found your perfect style and your package has arrived? Time for the first test! Half lashes don’t need trimming, as they definitely won’t poke you in the corner of your eye. If you chose full lashes, check that they aren’t too long and, if necessary, trim off a few magnets. Then draw a line with magnetic eyeliner and wait about 40–60 seconds. Using the applicator (or your fingers), take the lashes out of the box and place them on the line you’ve drawn. Press firmly, especially at the corners.
If you don’t feel completely confident – which is totally understandable the first time – pop the magnetic eyeliner in your bag in case you need to adjust your lashes. Don’t worry, you won’t need it, but your peace of mind matters to us 🙂
After each use, make sure there’s no eyeliner residue left on the lash band. Remove it, wipe the band with a gentle micellar water and put the lashes back in their original packaging.
Done!
